Gift Card Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern the use of Pitou Minou & Compagnons gift cards, which are also valid at participating Global Pet Foods stores (the “Gift Card”). By purchasing, using, or reloading a Gift Card, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Card Issuer

The Gift Card is issued by Pitou Minou & Compagnons (“PMC Inc.”), operated by PMC Inc. (or the applicable legal entity), whose contact information is provided in section 12.

2. Use of the Gift Card

The Gift Card may be used to pay for products and services offered at participating Pitou Minou & Compagnons and Global Pet Foods stores, subject to their respective policies. The Gift Card must be presented at the time of purchase.

The Gift Card cannot be used to purchase other gift cards, except as required by law.

3. Balance and Receipts

The remaining balance of the Gift Card will be shown on the receipt after each transaction. It is the cardholder’s responsibility to keep receipts to track the balance.

4. Validity and No Expiration

In accordance with applicable laws, the Gift Card does not expire and remains valid as long as a balance is available.

5. No Cash Value

The Gift Card cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash, in whole or in part, except where required by law.

6. Reloading the Card

Additional funds can be added to the Gift Card, subject to store limits and policies. Added amounts are subject to these Terms.

7. Loss, Theft, or Unauthorized Use

The Gift Card is treated like cash. It will not be replaced or refunded in case of loss, theft, destruction, or unauthorized use, except as required by law. PMC Inc. is not responsible for unauthorized use of a Gift Card.

8. Returns and Exchanges

Products or services purchased with a Gift Card are subject to the return and exchange policies of the store where the purchase was made. Any approved refund will be provided according to the store’s policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, PMC Inc. and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use a Gift Card, including errors in balance, technical failures, or unauthorized access.

10. Changes to Terms

PMC Inc. reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, subject to applicable laws. Updated Terms will be available on the website listed in section 12 and will take effect upon posting.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada.

13. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain fully in effect. PMC Inc.’s failure to exercise any right or remedy does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.
